We have certified our production in Hungary according to the ISO 14000 environmental management standard not only for ecological reasons, but also for the economic advantages that result from strict environmental management.
Environmental protection and sustainability are some of the greatest challenges faced by companies. Industrial companies in particular bear a major responsibility here. On the one hand they generate all sorts of emissions, such as noise, waste gases and waste, and on the other hand they depend on natural and high-quality resources with a low pollution burden. More and more companies recognize that environmental protection is long since no longer a charitable cause that one can support on the side. Consequently, the term environmental protection is far more accurate and comprehensive. Environmental protection must constitute an integral component of corporate philosophy and requires responsible management; after all, it deals not only with ecological, but also with economic aspects. We have joined the group of companies that are certified according to the ISO 14000 environmental management standard. The aim of this standard is to obligate the companies to sustainability, but to also provide them with the necessary flexibility that is required in everyday business. At the same time, the standards also take into account that each company has an entirely different load profile and it is therefore impossible to prescribe identical standards for them all. The most important thing is that there is continuity in the environmental protection standard and will ultimately benefit nature and all of those involved.
Stuco annually compiles a comprehensive load profile that lists all the environmentally relevant emissions. In order to receive the certificate, the load may not exceed a certain industry-specific spectrum. This means that Stuco is constantly compared to other companies in its industry and also competes in terms of environmentally friendly production. The second condition set by the ISO 14000 standard is the continuous improvement of the environmental protection. This means that we annually reduce our environmental pollution levels and consequently establish the best possible economic and ecological foundation for successful operation in the coming years.
